Whether you work in Mental Health or not, this site is something you need to know about. It is funded by the Australian Government and supports a whole host of ‘digital mental health’ programs, apps and resources that are free, can be used independently and anonymously or used with the guidance of a therapist. This is a great hub for information for mental health care practitioners on upcoming events, resources and professional support.
Online community consisting of blog content and chat forums for all health professionals with a keen interest in mental health.
Free Online Webinars also come up -like this pre-recorded one!
Based in Sweden, this company looks at development, manufacturing and marketing of robotic and sensor-based devices for functional movement therapy.

Free webinars! Strengthen the focus on new technology in rehab around the world. Loving the sound of Modern Gait Training and the upcoming Paediatric Rehab – Where are we headed?
This is the official blog of the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors. Regular blog pieces relevant across Allied Health professions and a free newsletter to sign up to, but what I really love is the FREE resource guides and ebooks that are detailed, include self reflection and discussion activities and further reading and links at the end! Topics include Coping with Workplace Harassment, Coping with the death of loved one, Coping with Transitions in Life and this one, describing how to identify the types of stress and management strategies – Stress In Everyday Life
I particularly love this one too on REFLECTIVE PRACTICE and SUPERVISION

Keep a look out for their up and coming training opportunities!
Even if you don’t work clinically with stroke survivors, you need to be aware of and read through these amazing clinical guidelines – These 2017 recently released guidelines update and supersede the previous 2010 document. The Clinical Guidelines have been updated in accordance with the 2011 NHMRC Standard for clinical practice guidelines and therefore recommendations are based on the best evidence available. This document is a ‘living document’ and as clinicians we need to be checking in, discussing and reviewing our resources regularly to enable us to provide the best possible evidence based intervention for our patients.
Look after your team and your team will look after you!
We all have to have them – but are yours as productive as they could be? Food for thought!
